The sauce tomatoes have arrived. I always worry when I plant my garden in the spring. Will it grow? What will it bring me this year? Did I do the right soil types? Last year, I got maybe 1 pepper and 4 heirlooms and a good supply of cherry tomatoes. This year, it’s POUNDS of San Marzano tomatoes. I picked some that I saw ripe this week and just peeled them. I now have several lbs of it in the freezer. From what I can see, the plants are just hitting the full grow life cycle. I’m harvesting a few every day now. My cherry tomatoes are no where to be seen. Which means, it either died or someone swapped out the plant at the nursery. Because I have 0 cherry tomatoes this year.
